Ribbed glass is what makes this one work. The flutes break the light into fine vertical bands as it leaves the shade, which is why a 1920s fixture reads as warm rather than flat, and why it sits comfortably in a modern room as well as a period one.

The frame is iron and metal with a handcrafted vintage finish in gold or chrome, and the whole fixture sits flush to the ceiling rather than hanging. That makes it usable in hallways, bedrooms and any room where a pendant would be in the way.

The integrated LED runs at 3000K and puts out 2,640 lumens in the small size and 4,180 in the large, enough to be the only light source in most rooms. A dimmable version is available for use with a Triac dimmer.
