There is no wiring. The battery is built in, it charges over USB from any adapter or power bank, and it runs about four hours on a full charge. That makes it one of the few decent wall lights suited to a rental, a mirror surround, or anywhere without an outlet nearby.

Control is wireless. A remote handles on, off and dimming, the body responds to touch, and an auto shutoff timer means it will not stay on all night if it is left running. Three colour temperatures are built in at 3000K, 4000K and 6000K, switchable without changing a bulb.

The housing is metal and aluminium with an acrylic diffuser, available from 27 to 50 inches long in three depths. Mount it with screws or adhesive. Either takes minutes and neither needs an electrician.
